Disability Experience Pavilion
Deals with the understanding of material poetics in relation to user experience, showcasing architectural design informed by material use, environmental sustainability awareness in relation to user needs and the activities involved.
In a group of 3, creating a simple structure such as pavilion, folly, playscape, relief, or an architectural installation as a 'Disabilities Experience Pavilion' that is meant to serve as a small recreational space in a hypothetical park for people with disabilities.

Site Analysis and Design Response
Conducting data collection and analysis of the given context, focusing on understanding the qualities of the natural environment and well as the needs of the community. Record, observe and gather data informing the physical and social dimensions of the context, identifying the intangible qualities together with the physical inventory that shape the character of the site.
In our own tutorial group, to identify, analyse, and synthesize the context into a design solution by taking note of the characteristics and needs of the community, expanding and enriching the project for Wellness Center PLUS, the core of Project II.

Wellness Center PLUS
Furthering the thematic exploration of “engaging environment and community”, the project calls for the design of a Wellness Center PLUS within the Kepong Botanical Gardens, bordering the suburban neighbourhood of Taman Ehsan.
The project aims to design and create architectural spaces to foster a sense of community among the users, exploring within the framework of the Environment, both natural and man-made, the Community of End Users and their experiences and how to foster the sense of community through design, the Materiality, its environmental poetics and its integration into design and the use Spatial Typology as a strategy in design.
